Tulip Fun

Hi all!

As most of you are aware, I am an avid netballer and general all round sports NUT!!! One of the gals on my Monday night team turned the big 40...and of course I had to make the card for the team!!

I have seen many wonderful tulip cards made from the wings of the XL Bird Punch. Given that the birthday gal had experienced the recent loss of her mum, we wanted it to be bright and cheery. Here's the card....

The colour scheme was Old Olive and Real Red. I sponged all the petals and leaves. It gave a wonderful depth I think.

All of the bits on the card were popped up on dimensionals...

I had soooooooooo much fun making this one, I kinda sorta...well definitely got carried away with making them. So you will see a couple more later!!

Thanks for dropping by.

Stuff used:
CS:(SU) Old Olive, Real Red, Whisper White, Rock Star DSP (ret)
Ink: (SU) Old Olive, Real Red, Cherry Cobbler (sponged red petals)
Stamps: (SU) Simple Type Alphabet Numbers
Punches and Dies: (SU) XL 2 Step Bird Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, Nestabilities Classic Circles and Scallop Circles, Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Folder
Other Bits: Olive and Red 1/2 pearls fm stash, Dimensionals
