I am still in hot and humid Singapore, but sadly my time is drawing to a close. We have had a ball seeing the sights and crafting. Bestie's Miss 8 has even joined in.
Today I wish to share 2 cards I made for a fabulous friend who has wonderful twin gals (hiya Lizzie and Jess!!!) They are individuals in their own right...so I wanted to make the same card but reflecting their own likes. Now given that I was running short on time...(don't get me started on that old chestnut!!) I wanted to keep it fairly easy. I had seen many versions of dragonflies done with Pick A Petal. These had actually started off as 2 flower cards, but I was not happy with the colour combo, so I simplified it down and came up with these......
Now another change for me was the fact that I made a square card...or 2 if you're going to be technical. Once I had the layout for these in my mind they went up very quickly. I am using my So Swirly wheel a lot more since I took it off the wheel. Here are both the dragonflies close up.....every gal...no matter what age needs a bit of bling on her birthday!!
(for some odd reason Blogger will not let me do these side-by-side...aaarrggghhh!!)
The dragonflies are simply 4 petals from Pick A Petal and then 5 punched circles...a couple of dimensionals and you're away!! I also HAD to use some more of my you beaut big glitter numbers!!
The girls loved their cards and the co-ordinated neck scarves that went with them.
I fly into Sydney again on Tues....sad to see Singapore go. Having a blast!!

These are gorgeous! Love colours you've gone with and those big blingy glittery numbers.
Very cute ... and heaps of fun! Don't you just hate it when you can't format posts exactly the way you would like??? Hope you are home safely! Looking forward to seeing some photos??? Hugs xxaxx
Oh I love these, so simple yet very very effective... I still have taken my wheels apart yet, and I just never use them, another project for me to get onto!
